Ritu Kumar remembers the iconic black saree worn by Priyanka Chopra in 2012:
“This black and gold saree was almost tailor made for Priyanka’s appearance at the event where she hit it right between tradition and modernity. Black was not really the colour I used to dress her in as she was very young and just won the title but Priyanka being Priyanka - just carries anything well!”
